P + S Estudio de Arquitectura

P + S Estudio de Arquitectura is formed by Francisco Parada and Laura R. Salvador.
Both founded the studio in Madrid in 2019, concentrating their work on the investigation of the processes of uncertainty, thermodynamics and entropy, applied to the practice of architecture and urbanism.

P + S understands the practice of architecture and urbanism as a common practice of research and work; and as such, its gaze engages a deep concern for detail, the physical understanding of the material, the cultural and vernacular character of the place, as well as all those complex dynamics of social behaviour in urban and architectural space.

Francisco Parada (Chile, 1984). Architect with distinction by Universidad del Desarrollo – Santiago de Chile, in 2009. He serves as full professor in the Faculty of Architecture at the same University between 2010-2017, participating in various academic projects and publications. At the same time, he worked as a freelance architect between 2011-2017. Since 2018 he has been pursuing his PhD studies in “Transversal Studies of Architecture and Urbanism” programme at ETSAM – Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Laura R. Salvador (Spain, 1989). Architect (2016) and Master in Urban Studies (2019) by ETSAM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). She made training stays at TU Delft, at B.V. Doshi’s studio in Ahmedabad, as well as numerous international workshops (ETH Zurich, CSM London, among others). Between 2012 and 2018, she collaborates with COAM, Architects Without Borders (Senegal) and in an R+D+i project in the Department of Urbanism at ETSAM, also practicing professionally independently.
